1960 - College Years II

Iowa State University

I was continuing in my pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineer as a Junior. I was taking only 3 courses: a 6-credit-hour EE course, a 4-credit Differential Equations math course, and a 3-credit Strength of Materials course from T&AM. T&AM is the Theoretical and Applied Mechanics Department which teaches what I call basic engineering courses. However, we called it Torture and Applied Murder, because the department was known for its rigor.
